As required by applicable law (Art. 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter also “GDPR”), Fedemac s.r.l. (hereinafter also the “Controller” or the “Company”) provides users who wish to contact the Company through the form on the website parcheggiotrastevere.it with the following information on the processing of their data.
Who is the controller and how can it be contacted
The data controller is Fedemac s.r.l., with registered office at Via Dell’Arco de Tolomei 26 a/b, 00153 Rome, Italy. The Controller can be contacted by email at info@parcheggiotrastevere.it or by phone at +39 328 887 0696.
What data is processed?
The data processed is the data provided by the user when filling in the contact form.
Purposes and legal basis of the processing
The personal data provided by the user through the form is used solely to respond to the user’s request. The legal basis for processing this data is therefore the taking of steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract. Where necessary, the data may also be used on the basis of the Controller’s legitimate interest in verifying the security and proper functioning of the IT systems used, and in carrying out defensive activities or establishing, exercising or defending legal claims.
How is the data managed?
The data collected is processed using IT tools that ensure adequate security measures to prevent data loss, unlawful or improper use and unauthorised access.
Transfer of data outside the EU
The hosting used for the website does not involve any transfer of data to countries outside the EU. However, for the email service used to manage information requests, the Controller uses the Gsuite service, which involves a transfer of data abroad; the transfer takes place in compliance with applicable law and with the necessary safeguards (adequacy decision and standard contractual clauses).
Retention period
Data provided directly by the data subject is kept for as long as strictly necessary to handle the request and is then deleted, without prejudice to defence requirements (which may require longer retention).
What happens if the data is not provided?
Providing the data is optional but, without it, the Controller will not be able to respond to the requests made by the data subject.
Who may have access to the data?
The data will be processed by the Controller through authorised personnel.
The data will be accessible to the IT companies the Controller uses for hosting and email services, to companies providing support and maintenance of the IT systems used, to the company providing email management support services, and to consultants for dispute management and legal assistance in the event of any disputes requiring their involvement. The data may also be disclosed to the competent Authorities in the event of specific requests with which the Controller is legally required to comply.
Some of the parties listed act as data processors, and disclosure to those acting as independent controllers is made because it is required by law or necessary to fulfil obligations arising from the contractual relationship or the Controller’s legitimate interest in maintaining the security of its IT systems and carrying out defensive activities through legal advisers. Disclosure is in any case limited to the categories of data whose transmission is necessary for the activities and purposes pursued. The data subject may ask the Controller for the list of external parties acting as data processors.
What are the data subject’s rights?
The law grants data subjects the right to request from the controller access to their personal data, rectification or erasure of the data, restriction of processing, or to object to processing, as well as the right to data portability.
Data subjects may exercise their rights at any time, without formalities, by contacting the Controller at the email address indicated. The Controller will respond within 30 days of receipt of the request, as required by applicable law.
The rights granted by data protection law are set out in detail below.
- Right of access: the right to obtain from the controller confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning them is being processed and, where that is the case, access to the personal data and the following information: a) the purposes of the processing; b) the categories of personal data concerned; c) the recipients or categories of recipients to whom the personal data have been or will be disclosed, in particular recipients in third countries or international organisations; d) where possible, the envisaged period for which the personal data will be stored or, if not possible, the criteria used to determine that period; e) the existence of the right to request from the controller rectification or erasure of personal data or restriction of processing, or to object to such processing; f) the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; g) where the personal data are not collected from the data subject, any available information as to their source; h) the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling, and, at least in those cases, meaningful information about the logic involved, as well as the significance and the envisaged consequences of such processing for the data subject. Where personal data are transferred to a third country or to an international organisation, the data subject also has the right to be informed of the appropriate safeguards relating to the transfer.
- Right to rectification: the right to obtain from the controller without undue delay the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning them. Taking into account the purposes of the processing, the data subject has the right to have incomplete personal data completed, including by means of providing a supplementary statement.

- Right to restriction of processing: the right to have the data processed, with the exception of storage, only with the data subject’s consent or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person, or for reasons of important public interest of the Union or of a Member State, where: a) the accuracy of the personal data is contested by the data subject, for a period enabling the controller to verify the accuracy of the personal data; b) the processing is unlawful and the data subject opposes the erasure of the personal data and requests the restriction of their use instead; c) the controller no longer needs the personal data for the purposes of the processing, but they are required by the data subject for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims; d) the data subject has objected to processing carried out because it is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller, or for the purposes of the legitimate interests of the controller or of a third party, pending verification whether the legitimate grounds of the controller override those of the data subject.
- Right to data portability: the right to receive the personal data concerning them, which they have provided to the controller, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and the right to transmit those data to another controller without hindrance from the controller to which the data have been provided, as well as the right to have the personal data transmitted directly from one controller to another, where technically feasible, where the processing is based on consent or on a contract and is carried out by automated means. This right is without prejudice to the right to erasure.
- Right to object: the right of the data subject to object at any time, on grounds relating to their particular situation, to processing of personal data concerning them which is carried out because it is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller, or for the purposes of the legitimate interests of the controller or of a third party. Where personal data are processed for direct marketing purposes, the data subject has the right to object at any time to processing of personal data concerning them for such marketing, which includes profiling to the extent that it is related to such direct marketing.
The data subject is also informed that, if they believe that the processing of their personal data infringes the GDPR, they have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante), as provided for by Art. 77 of the Regulation, or to take legal action (Art. 79 of the Regulation).
